چکیده

Background A comprehensive array of gyral-based,cytoarchitecture-based,and functional connectivity-based gray matter labels were constructed in the Multichannel Illinois Institute Technology & Rush university Aging (MIITRA) atlas space order to enhance functionality and its interoperability with complementary atlases. Method T1w images from 400 older adults included construction MIITRA (50%male;64.9-98.9 years age) processed Freesurfer’s standard recon-all pipeline. The Freesurfer outputs for all manually edited. Parcellations Yeo,Desikan-Killiany,HCP-MMP,Brainnetome,Brodmann,Destrieux,Campbell,Flechsig,Mindboggle,Kleist,Smith,and EconomoCT atlases projected onto surface each image then converted volumetric labels. also nonlinearly registered using ANTs-SyN MNI152-6thgen,MNI-Colin,and MNI-2009b templates, Harvard-Oxford,Julich,AAL3,Buckner,CoBrALab,CAREN,Striatum-subdivision Hippocampal-subfields warped image. ANTs-derived transformations applied on individual build template used map corresponding raw exact physical locations final space. performance segmentation a separate group 100 adult individuals was evaluated terms label overlap, geometry, dissimilarity when comparing individual’s space, respective reference source Result Examples are shown Figure1. measures overlap between set generally high, an average Dice coefficient 0.78±0.3, Jaccard 0.59±0.27(Fig.2), sensitivity 0.74±0.1, specificity 0.86±0.35(Fig.3). geometry showed high correlation both volume label(correlation = 0.997,p-value<10−10) area 0.991,p-value<10−10)(Fig.4). values low, error 0.38±0.2(Fig.5). Conclusion MIITRA, combination high-resolution atlas, allowed that is good agreement

investigating the feasibility of a proposed model for geometric design of deployable arch structures

deployable scissor type structures are composed of the so-called scissor-like elements (sles), which are connected to each other at an intermediate point through a pivotal connection and allow them to be folded into a compact bundle for storage or transport. several sles are connected to each other in order to form units with regular polygonal plan views. the sides and radii of the polygons are...

Learning with Biased Complementary Labels

In this paper we study the classi cation problem in which we have access to easily obtainable surrogate for the true labels, namely complementary labels, which specify classes that observations do not belong to. For example, if one is familiar with monkeys but not meerkats, a meerkat is easily identi ed as not a monkey, so “monkey” is annotated to the meerkat as a complementary label. Speci cal...

Disability-Specific Atlases of Gray Matter Loss in Relapsing-Remitting Multiple Sclerosis.

IMPORTANCE Multiple sclerosis (MS) is characterized by progressive gray matter (GM) atrophy that strongly correlates with clinical disability. However, whether localized GM atrophy correlates with specific disabilities in patients with MS remains unknown. OBJECTIVE To understand the association between localized GM atrophy and clinical disability in a biology-driven analysis of MS. DESIGN, ...
