چکیده
Background: Treatment of vitiligo remains a challenge and there is no universal consensus about optimal treatment. Platelet rich plasma contains several growth factors being used as an effective treatment dermatological disorders. Now it clear that along with melanocytes, keratinocytes fibroblasts are also involved in pathogenesis vitiligo. The aim this study was to compare the effect narrowband-ultraviolet B (NB-UVB) platelet versus NB-UVB intralesional normal saline Methods: A prospective observational done between March 2016 August 2017 on patients attending BRD Medical College, Gorakhpur. total 80 were enrolled symmetrical lesions. For each patient one side treated platelet-rich (PRP) other NB- UVB plus given. Intralesional PRP given interval every 2 weeks for 4 months receiving therapy thrice weekly alternate day. Results: We found combination NB had statistically significant improvement compared alone pigmentation detected 60% combined site 20% saline. Conclusions: Intradermal injections efficacious, safe, cheap easy technique more efficacious when therapy. It shortens duration

متن کاملNarrowband ultraviolet B phototherapy and 308-nm excimer laser in the treatment of vitiligo: a review.
Vitiligo is a common and chronic disease with a great impact on patients' quality of life. Phototherapy with narrowband ultraviolet B radiation and excimer laser are two treatment modalities that are used increasingly for the management of the disease with variable results. In this article, we review the efficacy, adverse effects, and possible mechanisms of action of narrowband ultraviolet B an...

Background: Despite great advances in therapeutic regimens, complete repigmentation in vitiligo is still out of reach. The aimof this assay was to study the efficacy and tolerability of repeatedneedling combined with narrowband ultraviolet B (NBUVB)therapy in the treatment of generalized, stable, refractory vitiligo.Method: Twenty-six patients with stable generalized intractablevitiligo were rec...
متن کاملComparative study of systemic psoralen and ultraviolet A and narrowband ultraviolet B in treatment of chronic urticaria.
BACKGROUND Previous success rates of psoralen and ultraviolet A (PUVA) and narrowband UVB (NB-UVB) in the treatment of chronic urticaria are reported in few studies with no previous reports on the comparable efficacy of both modalities in the disease. AIM We aimed to compare the efficacy of PUVA versus NB-UVB in the treatment of chronic urticaria. METHODS Twenty-four patients with chronic u...
