A COMPARATIVE STUDY OF MULTISTORIED BUILDINGS USING THE BUILDING INFORMATION MODELLING (BIM) METHOD & CONVENTIONAL MODELING METHOD

Although the construction industry has been evolving for centuries and researchers have seeking innovative solutions decades, diverse challenges still exist in making process faster, safer, cheaper, more accurate. Building Information Modelling (BIM) is one of emerging tools field architectural engineering to overcome these problems. Applications this tool are very promising but its uses relatively limited many countries including Bangladesh. So study conducted a pilot project case analysis using Modeling control project’s time cost from Bangladesh's perspective. The objectives are: (1) examine benefits BIM (2) applying during life cycle. This being achieved by introducing Autodesk Revit MEP (2021) as methodological software. resultant data system extremely useful can be generated optimize delivery processes. results also revealed that study, functions help reduce costs, optimise schedule, make all participants. Thus, model-based estimation schedule optimization show effective instead conventional modelling methods.
