A Comparative Investigation on Different QoS Mechanisms in Multi-Homed Networks

The current wireless communication system in Iraq faces several challenges during users’ handoff, especially with the fast growth of users and demands. This is also a global issue; therefore, quality service (QoS) measures have rapidly become more important developed over years. complexity between diverse applications underlying QoS architectures leads to these deployment problems, which decreases utility provisioning. paper studies different aggregation mechanisms order improve overall operational efficiency multi-homed node. main mechanisms, i.e., IntServ, DiffServ, best-effort, IntServ-DiffServ were investigated compared thoroughly. Furthermore, it focuses on network that aims develop scalable better performance, reliability, optimized networks. In this paper, enhancements are carried out comparable site host multi-homing. results show how has achieved best performance other as combines advantages IntServ DiffServ mechanisms. Another finding was multi-homing managed keep going node, whereas site-multi-homing gave end-to-end latency host-multi-homing.
