Fault coal bursts is a common type of in mining. With increases mining depths and intensities, the occurrence frequency disaster degree fault-controlled areas are increasing severity. Therefore, this article, mechanism control method deep mining-induced fault analysed on No. 3402 longwall panel controlled by two faults Shandong Mine, China. Based microseismic monitoring data panel, activation process induced can be divided into four stages. The second energy release stages risk bursts. Using numerical simulation, evolution laws vertical stress, elastic strain front ratio shear stress to normal plane investigated. phenomenon ‘high section-low section’ pillar between revealed, high discussed. Third, based above research results, burts area determined. ‘coal seam-roof-floor coupling destressing with reduction speed’ introduced. Field test results show that effectively destroys integrity bearing capacity seam, significantly reduces storage superposition tectonic so seam relieved, ensuring safe efficient panel. provide reference for other mines similar geological conditions.
