A clinical case of development of Waterhouse-Friderichsen syndrome after SARS-CoV-2 infection in a patient with rheumatoid arthritis and secondary adrenal AA-amyloidosis

چکیده
We present a clinical observation of patient whose cause death was new coronavirus infection COVID-19 complicated by bilateral viral interstitial pneumonia and adult acute respiratory distress syndrome. The presence background diseases-rheumatoid arthritis secondary AA-adrenal amyloidosis-worsened the prognosis. Waterhouse-Friderichsen syndrome with hemorrhage foci necrosis in adrenal cortex developed against SARS-CoV-2 infection. unique feature this case is long-term favorable course disease its rapid progression after SARS-CoV-2. associated disseminated intravascular coagulation further aggravated patient's condition.
