A Case of Persistent Intrauterine Molar Pregnancy with Final Diagnosis of Heterotopic Molar Pregnancy: A Very Rare Entity

Introduction: Gestational trophoblastic disease (GTD) includes hydatiform mole, choriocarcinoma, placental site tumor, and epithelial tumor. Also, molar pregnancy can happen as an ectopic pregnancy. The coincidence of these complicated pregnancies seems to occur extremely rarely. Case presentation: Here, we presented a 26-year-old woman, nulli gravida with the first presentation intrauterine complete pregnancy; she underwent suction curettage but was prompted Trophoblastic Neoplasm (GTN) received chemotherapy. During chemotherapy, had severe abdominal pain laparotomy, found in fallopian tube. Salpingectomy done followed up serum human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) level again due improper decrease hCG levels, diagnosed heterotopic post-molar GTN methotrexate (MTX) multiple doses, did not respond MTX, so started actionomycine-D (Act-D) for her. She cured after receiving 5 courses Act-D now is on her monthly follow-up level. Conclusions: It important notice likelihood or case managing pregnancy, especially when encounter case’s poor response medical surgical therapy.
