A Camera Calibration Method for Limited Motion of Target in Space

Abstract In modern industrial production, vision measurement systems are widely used for product quality inspection. Camera calibration is a crucial step in that directly affects the accuracy of results. However, practical applications, limited space and restricted movement targets present new challenges camera calibration. this paper, we propose method suitable with space. This only requires one image target to complete system calibration, greatly simplifying on-site work. Experimental results show our has re-projection error 0.0187 pixels, indicating high reliability applicability. The application inspection seamless steel pipes demonstrates its potential production.
