A Blockchain-Enabled Ecosystem for Distributed Electricity Trading in Smart City

Along with the development in Internet of Things technology and smart city, a distributed network has been formed among cities. This makes it easy to integrate electric energy into power grid, thus become an efficient way use energy. However, how guarantee security privacy protection electricity trading not solved effectively. In this article, we propose blockchain-based (B-ET) ecosystem design contract ensure transactions are conducted safe reliable manner. To overcome shortcomings high latency traditional Proof-of-Work (PoW) consensus, proposed credit-based PoW consensus mechanism by integrating concept “stake” improve consortium blockchain under B-ET ecosystem. Then, take combined cooling, heating, (CCHP) system as example that supplies energy, model its interactions agent grid novel Stackelberg game. We show optimal utilities entities city can be obtained at equilibrium algorithm, which is guaranteed exist unique. end, conduct number numerical simulations evaluate our verify algorithms, demonstrate their correctness efficiency completely.
