چکیده
A 94 GHz pulse Doppler solid-state millimeter-wave cloud radar (MMCR), Tianjian-II (TJ-II), has been developed. It reduces the size and cost using a power amplifier (SSPA) single antenna. This paper describes system design, including hardware signal processing components. Pulse compression, segmented pulse, dual repetition frequency (PRF) technologies are employed to overcome limitations imposed by low of SSPA high GHz. The TJ-II also features dual-polarization, high-gain antenna for linear depolarization ratio detection time-division receive channel improve consistency save on costs. To achieve flexibility interference in transmission reception, uses software-defined radio technology, direct digital synthesis, downconversion, bandpass sampling. series spectrum methods proposed detecting weak signals improving scene adaptability.

The 4 GHz Bandwidth Millimeter - Wave Radar
The landmark construction of the Advanced Research Projects Agency (ARPA)–Lincoln C-band Observables Radar (ALCOR) at Kwajalein Atoll in 1970 sparked significant interest in the ballistic missile defense (BMD) and satellite-identification communities [1]. ALCOR's 50 cm range resolution using 512 MHz bandwidth data confirmed the viability of valuable new BMD discrimination techniques and provide...
متن کاملDetection of the Vibration Signal from Human Vocal Folds Using a 94-GHz Millimeter-Wave Radar
The detection of the vibration signal from human vocal folds provides essential information for studying human phonation and diagnosing voice disorders. Doppler radar technology has enabled the noncontact measurement of the human-vocal-fold vibration. However, existing systems must be placed in close proximity to the human throat and detailed information may be lost because of the low operating...
متن کاملA 94-GHz Millimeter-Wave Sensor for Speech Signal Acquisition
High frequency millimeter-wave (MMW) radar-like sensors enable the detection of speech signals. This novel non-acoustic speech detection method has some special advantages not offered by traditional microphones, such as preventing strong-acoustic interference, high directional sensitivity with penetration, and long detection distance. A 94-GHz MMW radar sensor was employed in this study to test...
متن کاملOn the Coherent Phase Noise of Millimeter - Wave Doppler Radar
The phase noise is a very important index to wireless system, especially in millimeter-wave continuous wave radar systems. The phase noise of the signal, which is firstly leaked from transmitter and then mixed to intermediate frequency band by the local oscillator (Tx-IF), will worsen the sensitivity of superheterodyne radar system used for Doppler velocity detection. In this paper, the coheren...
متن کاملA Novel Method for Speech Acquisition and Enhancement by 94 GHz Millimeter-Wave Sensor
In order to improve the speech acquisition ability of a non-contact method, a 94 GHz millimeter wave (MMW) radar sensor was employed to detect speech signals. This novel non-contact speech acquisition method was shown to have high directional sensitivity, and to be immune to strong acoustical disturbance. However, MMW radar speech is often degraded by combined sources of noise, which mainly inc...
