چکیده
Abstract Aim Traumatic native hip dislocation (NHD) is rarely without an associated fracture or due to low energy trauma. Posterior the most common pattern of dislocation. In cases, closed reduction successful, but occasionally open required achieve appropriate reduction. The aim our study was present 9-year experience from institution this rare injury and comment on how correlates with current literature. Method This a retrospective case series all adult patients (> 16 years old) traumatic NHD presented and/or treated at institution, between 1st January 2012 22nd June 2021. Results Thirteen cases were identified (38.4% female). mean age 26.5 years. Typically, younger involved in lower injuries. direction posterior 10 cases. Associated injuries seen 3 patients. 12 underwent successful reduction, 1 operatively managed. had previous pathology including femoroacetabular impingement, cam lesion childhood slipped upper femoral epiphysis. Conclusions pattern, commonly occurring under thirty. A target 6 hours for should be employed as will reduce risk AVN those who have not permanently damaged vessels time injury.

An unusual case of traumatic bilateral hip dislocation without fracture
Bilateral traumatic hip dislocations are extremely rare. Most of these are related to acetabular or proximal femoral fractures, consisting of complex lesions, and are rarely pure ligamentous injuries. Posterior dislocation is the most frequent. Some dislocations are accompanied by sciatic nerve palsy. The present case is a posterior bilateral hip dislocation with no other associated lesions, th...
متن کاملPosterior Hip Fracture -Dislocation Associated with Ipsilateral Intertrochantric Fracture; a Rare Case Report
Hip dislocation occurs when the femur does not break and the force is transmitted towards the hip joint leading to a posterior dislocation of the femoral head with or without posterior acetabular fracture. We present the case of a 26 year old patient involved in motor vehicle accident. Clinical and imaging (radiography, CT) examination revealed an intertrochanteric fracture associated with ipsi...
متن کاملTraumatic Hip Dislocation with Associated Femoral Head Fracture
Dislocation of the hip is a critical injury that results from high-energy trauma. This paper describes a case of posterior dislocation of the right hip in a 35-year-old woman with associated ipsilateral femoral head fracture. Initial treatment included reduction of the right hip through posterior approach and fixation of the femoral head fracture with three absorbable screws. After 15-month fol...

متن کاملTraumatic inferior hip dislocation: a rare adult case with ipsilateral bifocal hip fracture
Inferior dislocation is a rare type of hip dislocation, especially in adults. Few cases have been reported; most of them were isolated. This is the case of a traumatic adult hip dislocation after a road traffic accident. Reduction was made under general anaesthesia; a CT-Scan after the reduction showed a bifocal non-displaced hip fracture. In this article, we present a small review of the liter...
