چکیده

Abstract Neonatal and weaning periods are the most challenging phases for enteric infections in dairy calves. While different approaches used to minimize calf health issues, neonatal diet remains core approach enhance pre- post-weaning animal performance. Previous studies have shown that bioactive compounds, including oligosaccharides present of calves, enhanced their growth performance post-weaning. However, effects supplementation during period impact on status remain be elucidated. Thus, we aimed evaluate blood biomarkers inflammation calves supplemented with condensed solubles from milk permeate (CS) (from birth 21 d) Twenty-four newborn Holstein (n = 12/group) housed individual hutches were a randomized complete block design study. Early Inflammation Disorder in Neonatal Calves

and Implications In the present study, 30 Holstein calves were acquired at birth and were randomly subjected to one of six treatments. One treatment group was colostrum deprived (CD) and five other treatment groups were fed colostrum replacer (CR). Of the five CR groups, one group was not further supplemented (CR), one received vitamin A (CR-A), one received vitamin D (CR-D), one received vitam...

Condensed and Desiccated Milk,

Milk is a bulky product, expensive to transport, and very susceptible to contamination, which in a short time renders it unpalatable. In its natural state it contains al^out 87 per cent of water, which is a comparatively worthless constituent. ' Efforts to reduce the water content of milk, leaving the solids in ; a more concentrated form without destroying their food value, and at the same time...

The most common tumours were teratomas (n=19), others being renal tumours (n=9), soft tissue sarcomas (n=8), neuroblastomas (n=7), and others (n=8). Of the total, 31% were malignant. Neonatal tumours pose difficult problems of management, and because of their comparative rarity and the great potential for cure we recomm...
