552 Transitions in blood immune profile in atopic dermatitis from infancy to adulthood

چکیده
Atopic dermatitis/AD patients have systemic biomarker dysregulation that differs by age group, but proteomic characteristics of these age-based changes are unknown. To profile blood proteins AD across different groups versus age-appropriate controls. Using the OLINK high-throughput platform, we profiled 375 serum 20 infants (0-5y/o), 39 children (6-11y/o), 21 adolescents (12-17y/o), and adults (≥18y/o) with moderate-to-severe AD, 83 Each group presented a distinct signature. Th2-related were increased in infant further intensified through adolescence adulthood (IL-4/CCL13/CCL17). In contrast, Th1 axis down-regulation was detected gradually reversed to products (IFNg/CXCL9/CXCL10/CCL2) from childhood adulthood. Despite their short disease duration, already evidence inflammation, significant up-regulation innate immunity (IL-17C/IL-1RN), T-cell activation/migration (CCL19), Th2 (CCL13/CCL17), Th17 (PI3) proteins. Adults present unique cardiovascular related coagulation diabetes. Systemic immune signatures age-specific beyond shared activation. These data advocate for precision medicine approaches based on profiles.

Common Allergens in Patients with Atopic Dermatitis
Abstract Background and objective: Being exposed to different allergens, followed by the production of specific IgE, has an important role in causing atopic dermatitis, recognizing the allergens and applying immunotherapy for treatment. We aimed to determine the frequency of common allergens in the patients suffering from atopic dermatitis. Material and Methods: In this descriptive- anal...

household cleaning agents (such as Formula 409 or even plain water) were used; however, dishwashing liquid left Ara h1 on 4 of 12 tables (possibly by leaving a film). Six schools were assessed without special prior preparation (2 used peanut-free tables/preparation areas, and 1 was totally peanut-free). Of the 6 preschools and schools evaluated, Ara h1 was found on 1 of 13 water fountains (130 ...
متن کاملFood allergy and atopic dermatitis in infancy: an epidemiologic study.
Atopic dermatitis is common in infancy. The role of food allergy in atopic dermatitis of infancy is unclear. We examined the relationship between atopic dermatitis and immunoglobulin E (IgE)-mediated food allergy in infancy. A birth cohort of 620 infants with a family history of eczema, asthma, hayfever or immediate food allergy in a parent or sibling: 487 children had complete data including s...
متن کاملPeripheral blood eosinophilia in atopic dermatitis.
BACKGROUND Eosinophil granulocytes and eosinophilic granule proteins are deposited in the skin lesions of AD patients. Increased Th2 activity in the acute phase of AD is associated with IL-5 expression and results in enhanced eosinophilopoiesis, eosinophilic activation, and chemotaxis. MATERIAL AND METHODS Thirty AD patients attending the Allergic Diseases Diagnostic Center and hospitalized i...
