3D Printing in Triggered Drug Delivery Devices: A Review

چکیده
Triggered drug delivery devices use external stimulus to trigger the release of drugs from device. By controlling exposure stimuli, it would allow for control over timing, duration and amount being released device, improving efficacy. 3D printing uses on-demand deposition crosslinking materials fabricate a product, increasing customisability design internal structure. using triggered devices, certain advantages such as complex geometries, gradient compositions, multi-material structures embedded components can be conferred printed devices. In this review paper, which are fabricated techniques vat photopolymerisation material extrusion discussed. The advancement in areas printing, hybrid additive manufacturing, presents tremendous opportunities fabricating future will also reviewed.
