Abstract Aim Prostate artery embolisation (PAE) is an approved treatment for men with lower urinary tract symptoms secondary to benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH-LUTS). Evidence of efficacy PAE in patients who are unable void urine spontaneously scant, however. Traditional treatments BPH-LUTS have evidence retention and this series aims report outcomes catheterised patients. Method The records consecutive which required either indwelling bladder catheter or clean intermittent self-catheterisation (CISC) subsequently underwent were retrospectively reviewed. Basic demographics collected along information on the prostate volume procedure specifics. primary outcome was whether catheter/CISC free at 3 months.
