322 Comparative Analysis of Endovascular Intervention and Endarterectomy in Patients with Femoral Artery Disease: A Systematic Review

Abstract Aim To compare the safety and efficacy of endovascular stenting to endarterectomy in treating femoral artery disease. Method We searched databases such as PubMed, Ovid, Embase Scopus for studies done on treatments last decade. The inclusion criteria comprised latest within 10 years, human restricting only Relevancy articles were assessed using PRISMA Newcastle-Ottawa quality assessment scale. Thereafter, data extracted, statistical variables calculated MedCalc software. checklist was used assess risk bias. Results Total twenty-six retrospective, prospective sub-analysis met with a total 7126 patients (endovascular, 2496; endarterectomy, 4630). A division outcomes into primary secondary based direct correlation parameters evaluated. Our review demonstrated higher value technical success intervention than an odds ratio 4.27 statistically significant at 95% CI (2.87–6.38).
