چکیده
Cutaneous metastases (CM) from solid organ tumors have a reported incidence of 0.5% to 10%. They most often occur in breast, lung and kidney primaries. Often regarded as the ‘first sign silent visceral metastases,’ they are associated with poor prognosis. The concurrent has not been studied detail. A better understanding CM could mechanistic management implications. aim our study was determine survival patients primary metastases. This retrospective chart review based on skin biopsy pathology data between 2010 2021, minimum one year follow up. Primary cancer hematological malignancies were excluded. Of 175 (15 males, 160 females) who fulfilled criteria; 140 (80.6%) had metastases; which 86 (61%) died 54 (39%) survived. 95 overall (54.3%) died, an average length after presentation 19.45 months. Out all deceased patients, (90.5%) 9 (9.5%) did (over 9-fold difference; p<0.001) These located frequently bone, followed by lung, liver, brain. Most common tumor sites breast (79%), renal (5%), (4.5%). presented anterior chest wall, back abdomen. Therapeutic for involved predominantly systemic therapy (71%), local excision (16.5%), radiation (12.5%). In conclusion, we report 80.5% tumors, 39% Our findings suggest that may necessarily be ‘pre-terminal’ event, even If can identify these it possible manage them treatment potentially ‘cure’ them.

Cutaneous metastases of internal tumors.
Cutaneous metastases are relatively rare in clinical practice and their diagnosis requires a high index of suspicion because clinical findings can be subtle. These metastases reveal the presence of disseminated malignant disease and can lead to the diagnosis of unsuspected internal tumors or the spread or recurrence of an already diagnosed tumor. Early recognition of cutaneous metastases can fa...
متن کاملCarcinomatous meningitis: Leptomeningeal metastases in solid tumors
Leptomeningeal metastasis (LM) results from metastatic spread of cancer to the leptomeninges, giving rise to central nervous system dysfunction. Breast cancer, lung cancer, and melanoma are the most frequent causes of LM among solid tumors in adults. An early diagnosis of LM, before fixed neurologic deficits are manifest, permits earlier and potentially more effective treatment, thus leading to...
