چکیده
Increased Staphylococcus aureus colonisation is associated with atopic eczema (AE) severity. Reduction of S. levels, especially in AD patients, may led to an improvement the skin condition. Thus, aim a study was evaluate reduction od biofilm formation, two emollients for face and body care (no. 19624 19625 respectively). They contained complex ingredients (oligofructants from Ophiopogon japonicus acetyl heptapeptide-4). Moreover safety tolerability mentioned products were evaluated. Bacterial suspensions strains MSSA (83254), MRSA (BH1CC) epidermidis (RP62A 1457) mixed incubated several dilutions tested 24 hrs, next stained crystal violet. MTT cytotoxicity vitro (L929 cells) irritation potential ex vivo on EpiDerm model measured according ISO 10993. In addition this, severity occurence flares-up children preliminary studies comparison topical medical treatement. Both reduced formation different impact epidermidis. Also did not show towards L929 cells. this demonstrated that after 7 days emollient therapy comparable treatement corticosteroids. biocompatible well-tolerated. be considered as effective Emollient Plus type devices reduce patients suffering eczema/dermatitis.

Results: Pleural neopterin levels were significantly higher in patients with pleural TB than patients with malignancy (p< 0.001). Pleural ADA levels were significantly higher in patients with pleural TB than patients with malignancy (p< 0.001) and patients with benign non-tuberculosis effusions (p< 0.001). The mean levels of ADA and neopterin in pleural effusion were evaluated according to thei...
متن کاملEffect of the nanoliposomal formulations of rifampin and N-acetyl cysteine on staphylococcus epidermidis biofilm
Objective(s): Staphylococcus epidermidis is a common cause of medical device-associated infections due to biofilm formation, and its elimination is extremely challenging. Although rifampin efficacy against S. epidermidis biofilms has been confirmed, its use as a single agent may lead to resistance. As such, it is assumed that the combination of rifampin and N-acetylcysteine (NAC) could exert ad...
متن کاملDrug Discovery Targeting Bromodomain-Containing Protein 4
BRD4, the most extensively studied member of the BET family, is an epigenetic regulator that localizes to DNA via binding to acetylated histones and controls the expression of therapeutically important gene regulatory networks through the recruitment of transcription factors to form mediator complexes, phosphorylating RNA polymerase II, and by its intrinsic histone acetyltransferase activity. D...
متن کاملStaphylococcus aureus: methicillin-susceptible S. aureus to methicillin-resistant S. aureus and vancomycin-resistant S. aureus.
The evolution of methicillin-resistant and vancomycin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus has demanded serious review of antimicrobial use and development of new agents and revised approaches to prevent and overcome drug resistance. Depending on local conditions and patient risk factors, empirical therapy of suspected S. aureus infection may require coverage of drug-resistant organisms with newer a...
متن کاملProtection from Staphylococcus aureus mastitis associated with poly-N-acetyl beta-1,6 glucosamine specific antibody production using biofilm-embedded bacteria.
Staphylococcus aureus vaccines based on bacterins surrounded by slime, surface polysaccharides coupled to protein carriers and polysaccharides embedded in liposomes administered together with non-biofilm bacterins confer protection against mastitis. However, it remains unknown whether protective antibodies are directed to slime-associated known exopolysaccharides and could be produced in the ab...
