216 Resilience, sleep difficulties, and subjective sleep quality during COVID-19

Abstract Introduction We have shown in a previous study that despite significant improvements sleep patterns and duration during COVID-19 teens young adults, only reported better quality satisfaction. Moreover, difficulties seem to be more prominent the older group pandemic, suggesting there could additional risk factors involved. The current aimed investigate role of resilience association between changes subjective (SSQ) adults COVID-19. Methods 289 (12-17 years old) 294 (18-25 completed Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale-10 an adapted version Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index online. Teens were each divided into resilient less group. Hierarchical regression models conducted examine unique contribution weekdays duration, difficulties, SSQ. SSQ before COVID-19, gender entered as controls. Results show teens, onset (β=-.285, p=.003), nocturnal early awakenings (β=-.218, p=.019), (β=.282, p=.001) significantly predicted explained 36.5% variance.
