2-aminooxazole in Astrophysical Environments: IR Spectra and Destruction Cross Sections for Energetic Processing

چکیده
2-aminooxazole (2AO), a N-heterocyclic molecule, has been proposed as an intermediate in prebiotic syntheses. It demonstrated that it can be synthesized from small molecules such cyanamide and glycoaldehyde, which are present interstellar space. The aim of this work is to provide infrared spectra, the solid phase for conditions typical astrophysical environments estimate its stability toward UV photons cosmic rays. Infrared (4000-600 cm$^{-1}$) absorption spectra at 20 K, 180 300 IR band strengths, room temperature (120-250 nm) given first time species. Destruction cross-sections 9.5 10$^{-18}$ cm$^2$ 2 10$^{-16}$ were found irradiation K pure 2AO 2AO:H$_2$O ices with (6.3-10.9 eV) or 5 keV electrons, respectively. Resonance Averaged Photoionization Cross Sections for Astrophysical Models
We present ground state photoionization cross sections of atoms and ions averaged over resonance structures for photoionization modeling of astrophysical sources. The detailed cross sections calculated in the closecoupling approximation using the R-matrix method, with resonances delineated at thousands of energies, are taken from the Opacity Project database TOPbase and the Iron Project, includ...
متن کاملExtraction of Astrophysical Cross Sections in the Trojan-Horse Method
The Trojan-horse method has been proposed to extract S-matrix elements of a two-body reaction at astrophysical energies from a related reaction with three particles in the ®nal state. This should be useful in cases where the direct measurement of the two-body reaction at the necessary low energies is experimentally dif®cult. The formalism of the Trojan-horse method for nuclear reactions is deve...
متن کاملDeuterium-deuterium nuclear cross-sections in insulator and metallic environments
The three-dimensional Thomas-Fermi (TF) model is used to simulate the variation of the d+d → t + p cross-section at low impact energies, when the target deuterium nucleus is embedded in metallic or insulator environments. Comparison of the computational results to recent experiments demonstrates that even though the TF model can explain some increase in the low energy cross section for metallic...
متن کاملMeasurement of (α,n) reaction cross sections of erbium isotopes for testing astrophysical rate predictions
The γ-process in core-collapse and/or type Ia supernova explosions is thought to explain the origin of the majority of the so-called p nuclei (the 35 proton-rich isotopes between Se and Hg). Reaction rates for γ-process reaction network studies have to be predicted using Hauser-Feshbach statistical model calculations. Recent investigations have shown problems in the prediction of α-widths at as...
متن کاملImproved lead and bismuth (n,γ) cross sections and their astrophysical impact
A series of (n,γ) neutron capture measurements on the lead isotopes and bismuth have been carried out at the CERN n TOF installation in the neutron energy range from 1 eV up to 1MeV. At n TOF, contaminations due to scattered neutrons were reduced down to a negligible level by using improved γ-ray detectors with very low neutron sensitivity. The background level has been determined precisely fro...
