چکیده

New lead-free primary explosives are needed for safe future ignition and initiation applications. Especially, by low-energy laser irradiation has been demonstrated to be a valuable method. For this technology, with safer sensitivities needed. In order adjust the desired properties of neat explosives, we follow concept “energetic coordination compounds” (ECC) in which ligand significantly alters final properties. As result study where 1-amino-5H-tetrazole (1-AT) was used as one most endothermic ligands, yielding materials outstanding performance but very high sensitivities, work its 5-methyl analogue 1-amino-5-methyltetrazole (1-AMT, 1) synthesized applied ligand. short evaluation, metal perchlorate complexes [M(1-AMT)6](ClO4)2 manganese(II), iron(II), zinc(II) well [Cu(1-AMT)4(H2O)](ClO4)2 were prepared. All compounds intensively characterized e. g., XRD, IR, EA, TGA, DTA sensitivity measurements (impact, friction, BDIS, ESD). The obtained show reduced they handle than corresponding 1-AT derivatives. Moreover, satisfactory performances ECC 3 4 impressively PETN experiments.

Metal-ligand interactions in transition metal complexes of glyoxilic acid oxime

The simplest derivative of 2-(hydroxyimino)carboxylic acids, glyoxilic acid oxime (gaoH2), was used as a model compound for investigation of the metal-ligand interactions in a series of metal complexes: Cu(gaoH)2(H2O)2, Zn(gaoH)2(H2O)2, Co(gaoH)2(H2O)2, Ni(gaoH)2(H2O)2, [Cd(gaoH)2(H2O)2]H2O, K[Pd(gao)(gaoH)] and K[Pt(gao)(gaoH)]3/4H2O. The coordination abilities of the active ligand forms, gaoH...

Transition Metal Imido Complexes

A wide range of transition metal imido (TMI) complexes is studied using ab initio molecular orbital (MO) calculations. The main computational point of interest is the further testing of effective core potentials (ECPs) and valence basis sets to allow for the accurate calculation of properties for reasonably sized transition metal complexes. On the chemical side, several results from the study a...

Dissymmetric dinuclear transition metal complexes as dual site catalysts for the polymerization of ethylene

A series of dissymmetric dinuclear complexes were synthesized, as dual site catalysts in ethylene polymerization, by coupling the allylated a-diimine complexes of the metals Ti, Zr, V, Ni and Pd with the ansa-zirconocene complex [C5H4-SiH(Me)-C5H4]ZrCl2 possessing a hydride silane moiety. The different stages of syntheses included the formation of bis(cyclopentadienide)methyl silane which was u...

Metal Hydrides: Transition Metal Hydride Complexes

Solid-state metal hydrides provide a safe and efficient way of storing hydrogen (Schlapbach 2002). They are commercialized for use in rechargeable batteries and developed for energy conversion devices such as fuel cells (see Hydrogen Metal Systems: Electrochemical Reactions). A great majority of metal hydrides derives from intermetallic compounds and alloys (see Hydrogen Metal Systems: Hydride ...
