Introduction: While drug reaction with eosinophilia and systemic symptoms (DRESS) syndrome is known to be associated facial swelling, this edema can challenging identify. This study evaluates the utility of a physical examination finding, oblique earlobe crease, support diagnosis DRESS. Design: retrospective case-control in which dermatologists evaluated for presence an crease patients diagnosed DRESS compared unmatched controls morbilliform reactions, Stevens-Johnson Syndrome/Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis (SJS/TEN), or acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis (AGEP).
