“15-Minute City” and Elderly People: Thinking about Healthy Cities

Considering the global scenario of population aging, which countries such as Chile are going through, social problems that it means in terms viability and quality life for elderly increasing a cause concern. For this reason, study summarizes results investigating accessibility services recreational spaces under parameters “15-minute city” people city Santiago de Chile. The investigation employed multivariate geostatistical analysis with quantitative approach was developed on census block scale to test some principles 15-min along active aging elderly. surprising, show good territorial coverage area open possibility becoming older adults. However, there still several challenges public policies, from mental physical health design spaces, fundamental think about cities future.
