چکیده

Hyaluronic acid/Hyaluronan (HA) is an important component of the extracellular matrix dermis. HYBID (HA-Binding protein Involved in HA Depolymerization), also known as KIAA1199/CEMIP, plays a key role degradation large (>1000 kDa) into intermediate size fragments with molecular weights 10 kDa to 100 kDa. Recently, we have demonstrated that Artemisia capillaris flower extract suppresses histamine-induced expression neonatal normal human dermal fibroblasts (NHDF). In this study, responsible for HA, evaluated effect same plant on protection from under experimental conditions. NHDF were maintained Dulbecco's Modified Eagle Medium (DMEM) containing 10% fetal bovine serum. After cells treated different concentrations around 3 hrs, they exposed inducer, histamine, additional hrs followed by addition fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC)-labeled (1,200-1,600 kDa). 24 and 48 incubation, cultured medium was collected measurement distribution FITC-labeled HPLC. It found not only decreased, but increased HYBID. contrast, use time- dose-dependently reversed action, which leads degradation. As loss has been reported be directly correlated wrinkle sagging skin, could provide non-invasive solution protect our skin against aging through

Hyaluronic acid modulates proliferation of mouse dermal fibroblasts in culture.

When the concentration of hyaluronic acid was monitored in primary cultures of mouse skin dermal fibroblasts, there was an increase in hyaluronic acid proportional to the increase in cell number during the logarithmic growth phase. The concentration reached the maximum value 2 days before the cells became confluent, and then decreased gradually. Hyaluronic acid added at 1 mg ml-1 during the log...

Two new constituents from Artemisia capillaris Thunb.

Two new compounds, 6'-O-caffeoyl-p-hydroxyacetophenone-4-O-beta-D-glucopyranoside(1) and 6-amino-9-[1-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)ethyl]-9H-purine (2) were isolated from the aerial parts of Artemisia capillaris Thunb. The structures were established on the basis of spectral data.

Hyaluronic acid-specific regulation of cytokines by human uterine fibroblasts.

The physiological inflammatory response can provide an effective mechanism for delivering the baby at the time of parturition. We characterized the mechanisms by which hyaluronic acid (HA) regulates interleukin-1β (IL-1β), tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), and interleukin-8 (IL-8) production in human uterine fibroblasts. A dose-dependent increase in cytokine release was observed over an HA conce...

Cordyceps militaris Extract Protects Human Dermal Fibroblasts against Oxidative Stress-Induced Apoptosis and Premature Senescence

Oxidative stress induced by reactive oxygen species (ROS) is the major cause of degenerative disorders including aging and disease. In this study, we investigated whether Cordyceps militaris extract (CME) has in vitro protective effects on hydrogen peroxide-induced oxidative stress in human dermal fibroblasts (HDFs). Our results showed that the 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) radical scave...

Histochemical demonstration of hyaluronic acid in human dermal mast cells.

Acid mucopolysaccharides in mast cell granules were histochemically studied in the lesion of urticaria pigmentosa and in the dermis of normal human skin. Alcian blue and azure A were used to stain mucopolysaccharides. Bromphenol blue was employed for detection of basic proteins. In a further attempt to identify various polyanions, staining was carried out with alcian blue containing various con...
