123 ATF3 distinguishes between innate and adaptive immunity

چکیده
To answer whether innate immunity causes autoinflammation or initiate adaptive response, we focused on ATF3, which functions as a regulator in early signaling. Therefore, studied the impact of ATF3 and response vivo. In previous works observed opposing effects either immune responses. We further evaluated relevance for T cell-mediated context contact hypersensitivity. Atf3ko wt mice were sensitized with TNCB challenged. After challenge, cell-associated cytokines Il2 Il4 induced almost at background mice. Tissue from showed reduced levels Ifn Cxcl10. Il6 was increased Atf3ko, while mRNA IL-1 cytokine family members similar Coinciding, stronger infiltrate neutrophils. analyzed draining lymph nodes via FACS revealed delayed migration DCs ATF3ko Further, Atf3-deficient an irregular shape dysregulated actin formation contrast to DCs. determine effect responses, CD4+ cells isolated nodes. Indeed, but not Atf3-/- mice, also significantly Ifng compared controls. Investigating role antigen presentation, co-cultures OTII-CD4+ T-helper cells. As constant, lower Ifn, co-culture summary, our data suggest that suppression does stimulate both immunity, promotes state enhanced neutrophil recruitment DC dysfunction suppressed cell activation.

متن کاملLinks between innate and adaptive immunity via type I interferon.
Type I interferon (IFN-alpha/beta) is expressed rapidly following exposure to a wide variety of infectious agents and plays a key role in innate control of virus replication. Recent studies have demonstrated that dendritic cells both produce IFN-alpha/beta and undergo maturation in response to IFN-alpha/beta. Moreover, IFN-alpha/beta has been shown to potently enhance immune responses in vivo t...
متن کاملCeliac disease--sandwiched between innate and adaptive immunity.
Celiac disease (CD) patients are intolerant to gluten, proteins in wheat, and related cereals. Virtually all patients are human leukocyte antigen (HLA)-DQ2 or HLA-DQ8 positive and several studies have demonstrated that CD4 T cells specific for (modified) gluten peptides bound to these HLA-DQ molecules are found in patients but not in control subjects. These T cell responses are therefore though...
متن کاملTrauma, Sepsis, Innate, Adaptive Immunity and Inflammation
Introduction: This review paper covered, trauma, sepsis, innate, adaptive immunity and inflammation along with anxiety, and depression that occurs both in women with asthma, traumatic children and adult patients. Materials and Methods: This is a review article. Areas covered include immune function changes, which can lead to both trauma and pro-inflammatory activation known as systemic inflamma...
متن کاملAntibody Fc: Linking Adaptive and Innate Immunity
The book opens with a section devoted to three Fc-dependent mechanisms that are crucial to immunity: (1) antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC); (2) antibody-dependent cellular phagocytosis (ADCP); and (3) complement-dependent cytotoxicity (CDC). Victor Raúl Gómez Román, Joseph C. Murray and Louis M. Weiner discuss ADCC, and set the stage for subsequent chapters, by first introducing t...
