چکیده
Transient receptor potential vanilloid 4 (TRPV4) is a calcium ion channel that widely expressed in various cells. It has been known TRPV4 multiple functions such as chemical sensing, cell proliferation, and immune responses organs, including the skin. Recent studies revealed modulates itch sensitivity dry skin contact dermatitis mouse model. Recently, we found expression increased human atopic dermatitis. However, precise role of pathogenesis was still unclear. We aimed to investigate using MC903 topically applied back for 6 consecutive days, score compared between WT mice KO mice. Skin tissues from area were collected histological biochemical studies. First, confirmed TRPV keratinocytes infiltrating inflammatory cells into dermis MC903-treated with vehicle-treated by immunostaining. Dermatitis significantly inhibited (p = 0.02) days 5 6. The number CD3+ T-cells F4/80+macrophages CGRP-positive areas decreased MC903-induced enhancement mRNA levels TSLP partially In conclusion, showed regulates dermatitis-like inflammation via production Future work will focus on immunological aspects regulation dermatitis, particularly type 2 inflammation.

Warm temperature-sensitive transient receptor potential vanilloid 4 (TRPV4) plays an essential role in thermal hyperalgesia.
Animals sense various ranges of temperatures by cutaneous thermal stimuli. Transient receptor potential vanilloid 4 (TRPV4) is a cation channel activated at a warm temperature (over 30 degrees C) in exogenously expressed cells. We found in the present study that TRPV4 is essential in thermal hyperalgesia at a warm temperature in vivo. TRPV4-/- and TRPV4+/+ mice exhibited the same latency of esc...

متن کاملA functional transient receptor potential vanilloid 4 (TRPV4) channel is expressed in human endothelial progenitor cells.
Endothelial progenitor cells (EPCs) are mobilized into circulation to replace damaged endothelial cells and recapitulate the vascular network of injured tissues. Intracellular Ca(2+) signals are key to EPC activation, but it is yet to be elucidated whether they are endowed with the same blend of Ca(2+) -permeable channels expressed by mature endothelial cells. For instance, endothelial colony f...
متن کاملTransient receptor potential vanilloid 4 (TRPV4) silencing in Helicobacter pylori‐infected human gastric epithelium
BACKGROUND Helicobacter pylori (HP) infection induces methylation silencing of specific genes in gastric epithelium. Various stimuli activate the nonselective cation channel TRPV4, which is expressed in gastric epithelium where it detects mechanical stimuli and promotes ATP release. As CpG islands in TRPV4 are methylated in HP-infected gastric epithelium, we evaluated HP infection-dependent cha...
