now-a-days graphic design plays a major role in influencing culture, society, business, and customers, in such a way that one could look upon every individual as a potential customer. graphic designers seek to identify customers needs and find an intelligent solution for them. correct identification and understanding of those needs is the first step towards achieving ones goals. marketing knowhow with its possibilities identifies customers needs and endeavors to realize them to mutual benefit. therefore using information that provides true understanding of the particular market and its customers and trends thereof will enrich designers interaction with that market. in order to answer the question of how marketing influences the promotion of graphic designers in this research, first of all the role of contemporary graphic design has been specified, then using existing sources on hand various suitable marketing strategies have been discussed. in the final part, interaction between these two areas, the roots in their similarities and differences in their approaches and actions have been briefly looked into. the result of this research speaks for the fact that marketing can be an appropriate platform for the designer and the customer mutual benefit, and improve professional graphic design quality standards. the aim in this thesis, that has been return using the descriptive method, and gathering library data, is to promote interaction between graphic designers and the market generally, identifying and implementing market and customer management systems.
