in this article we study ste ensen method to solve nonlinear matrix equation x+a^t x^(-1) a=q, when a is a normal matrix. we establish some conditions that generate a sequence of positive de nite matrices which converges to solution of this equation.

In this paper we present a family of domain decomposition based on Aitken-like acceleration of the Schwarz method seen as an iterative procedure with a linear rate of convergence. We rst present the so-called Aitken–Schwarz procedure for linear di erential operators. The solver can be a direct solver when applied to the Helmholtz problem with ve-point nite di erence scheme on regular grids. We ...

This article presents an approach to the optimization of helical involute gears for geometrical feasibility, contact ratio, teeth sliding velocity, stresses and static transmission error (STE). The teeth shape is subject to random perturbations due to wear (a randomized Archard’s wear). The consequences of shape inaccuracies are statistically expressed as a 90% percentile of the STE variation, ...

INTRODUCTION Speckle tracking echocardiography (STE) is a relatively novel and sensitive method for assessing ventricular function and may unmask myocardial dysfunction not appreciated with conventional echocardiography. The association of ventricular dysfunction and prognosis in sepsis is unclear. We sought to evaluate frequency and prognostic value of biventricular function, assessed by STE i...

Symbolic Trajectory Evaluation (STE) is a powerful technique for model checking. It is based on 3-valued symbolic simulation, using 0,1 and X (”unknown”). The X value is used to abstract away parts of the circuit. The abstraction is derived from the user’s specification. Currently the process of abstraction and refinement in STE is performed manually. This paper presents an automatic refinement...

Three-dimensional echocardiography (3DE) and speckle tracking echocardiography (STE) have recently applied as imaging techniques to accurately evaluate left atrial (LA) size, anatomy and function. 3DE and off-line quantification softwares, have allowed, in comparison to magnetic resonance imaging, the most time-efficient and accurate method of LA volume quantification. STE provides a non-Dopple...

Recently we have witnessed the rise of Artificial Intelligence Things (AIoT) and shift sensing paradigm from cloud-centric to edge-centric, which effectively improves capability intelligence transportation systems. To improve real-time performance, in this work propose an ensemble based scheme solve time-constraint synchronized inference problem achieve robust with heterogeneous IoT devices We ...

AIMS Although the utility of two-dimensional (2D) speckle tracking echocardiography (STE) to quantify left ventricular (LV) volume has been demonstrated, this methodology is limited by foreshortened views, geometric modelling, and the assumption that speckles can be tracked from frame to frame, despite their out of plane motion. To circumvent these limitations, a three-dimensional (3D) speckle ...

This paper presents a new simple and straightforward method for designing Self-Testing Embedded (STE) parity checkers. The building block is the two-input XOR gate. During normal, fault-free operation, each XOR gate receives all possible input vectors. The great advantage of the proposed method is that it is the only one that gives, in a simple and straightforward way, optimal STE realizations ...

INTRODUCTION Post-surgical graft exposition and loss of grafted bone are a common complication of vertical bone augmentation. Soft tissue expansion (STE) by implantation of osmotic self-filling tissue expanders before reconstructive surgery is an effective method for generation of soft tissue. The aim of this study was to investigate the feasibility of STE before bone augmentation with regard t...
