Complementary data on Graptoppia (Stenoppia) italica (Acari, Oribatida, Oppiidae) collected from Iran

A new species of the genus Gittella (Oribatida, Oppiidae) - G. kontschani n. sp. is described, based on materials collected from upper soil and leaf litter in primary evergreen lowland rainforest Amazonian Peru. Generic diagnosis, an identification key, distribution, habitats all known are presented.
