Abstract This paper presents several properties and relations that satisfy the components of a bicomplex holomorphic function. It also exhibits analogies differences with case analytic functions.

In particular, we consider the harmonic conjugate of the solution of the problem of stationary heat conduction through a periodic network of fibres and matrix of arbitrary shape.
