spectral decomposition or time-frequency representation (tfr) is a powerful tool for analyzing time varying nature of seismic data. mapping of a one dimensional seismic time trace to a two dimensional function of time and frequency reveals some characteristics of seismic signals that are not available in only time or frequency representations. this approach has been widely used in seismic explo...

If the Navier-Stokes equations are averaged with a local, spacial convolution type filter, φ = gδ∗φ, the resulting system is not closed due to the filtered nonlinear term uu. An approximate deconvolution operator D is a bounded linear operator which satisfies u = D(u) + O(δ), where δ is the filter width and α ≥ 2. Using a deconvolution operator as an approximate filter inverse, yields the closu...

This paper proposes an adaptive microphone array using blind deconvolution. The method realizes an signal enhancement based on the combination with beamforming using blind deconvolution, synchronized summation and DSA method. The proposed method improves a performance of estimation by the iterative operation of blind deconvolution using a cost-function base on the coherency function.

The extended Euler deconvolution algorithm is shown to be a generalization and unification of 2-D Euler deconvolution and Werner deconvolution. After recasting the extended Euler algorithm in a way that suggests a natural generalization to three dimensions, we show that the 3-D extension can be realized using generalized Hilbert transforms. The resulting algorithm is both a generalization of ex...

Having attractiveness in digital cameras, the digital image processing is getting more imperative nowadays. One of the most common problems facing with digital photography is noise and blurring that needs restoration. In this paper, we present a new method for image blind deconvolution [2]. The Proposed Method employs threshold based image restoration technique in blind image deconvolution. The...

The mixed 2 optimal deconvolution filter is proposed to achieve the 2 optimal reconstruction and a desired robustness against the effect of uncertainties in signal processing from the norm perspective. However, the conventional mixed 2 optimal design filters are very complicate and are not practical for industrial applications. For simplicity of implementation and conservation of operation time...

Summary White reflectivity is not a fundamental assumption in the convolutional models. However the deconvolution algorithms should be modified slightly to honour color in the reflectivity series. This color correction is just possible when enough well-log information is available to build a mathematical model for the regional reflectivity. A method for correcting reflectivity color effects in ...
