In this Article, we give a simple criterion for the regularity of a tri-linear mapping. We provide if f : X × Y × Z −→ W is a bounded tri-linear mapping and h : W −→ S is a bounded linear mapping, then f is regular if and only if hof is regular. R is called a generalized derivation on R if there exists a derivation d : R to R such that F(xy) = F(x)y + xd(y) holds for all x y in R. In the present paper we describe the action of generalized derivations satisfying several conditions on Lie ideals of semiprime rings.
