This document proposes a method to manage the dynamic bandwidth allocation of implementations supporting the PPP multilink protocol [2]. This is done by defining the Bandwidth Allocation Protocol (BAP), as well as its associated control protocol, the Bandwidth Allocation Control Protocol (BACP). BAP can be used to manage the number of links in a multilink bundle. BAP defines datagrams to coordi...

One of the most important case in humanoid robot designing is hand, which it consider as an country development. High percentage of robot work quality depend on hand capability. A robot function increase with hand movement. One of important movement in artificial hand capability relate to fingers lateral movement. This case has more effect intake of special objects such as round shape or moving...

Data Link systems can be deployed to various platforms (ship, air, and land) in four different architectures: 1. Multilink Processor is embedded into Combat Management System (CMS)/ Avionic Mission Computer over native interface for full functionality 2. Multilink Processor integrated to legacy CMS with an adaptation module and adding Link Console for enhanced modernization in case CMS has limi...

In this paper, model-free controllers for multilink smart materials robots are presented. The approach allows controller design in the absence of a system model which is complex and difficult to obtain for multilink smart materials robots, and provides additional degrees of freedom in feedback control design. Simulation results are provided to show the effectiveness of the presented approach.

In this paper, we give some necessary and sufficient conditions for a normal subgroup of an amalgamated product of groups to be finitely generated. We apply these conditions together with Stallings’ fibering theorem to prove that an irreducible multilink in a homology 3-sphere fibers if and only if each of its multilink splice components fibers.

A multilink suspension offers a good balance between ride and handling performance and packaging space efficiency. It is also complex in design due to changes in link loading and compliance at high articulation travel. Therefore, geometric and material non-linearity behaviors are important to consider when designing these types of suspension components. Structural topology optimization has been...

OBJECTIVES To evaluate the degree of cure (%DC) of four self-etching, self-adhesive resin cements, and one conventional resin cement, in their self- and dual-curing mode. METHODS The self-etching, self-adhesive resin cements studied were RelyX Unicem (3M ESPE AG), Maxcem (Kerr Corporation), Biscem (Bisco, Inc.) and Multilink Sprint (Ivoclar Vivadent AG) and the classic resin cement was Multil...

PURPOSE This study was performed to evaluate shear bond strength (SBS) between three dual-cured resin cements and silica coated zirconia, before and after thermocycling treatment. MATERIALS AND METHODS Sixty specimens were cut in 15 × 2.75 mm discs using zirconia. After air blasting of 50 µm alumina, samples were prepared by tribochemical silica coating with Rocatec™ plus. The specimens were ...

OBJECTIVES The purpose of this study was to evaluate the safety, feasibility, optimal deployment technique and 1-year clinical outcome for the Advanced Cardiovascular Systems (ACS) MultiLink stent. BACKGROUND Optimal stent deployment assessed by quantitative coronary angiography and intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) is associated with improved clinical outcome. METHODS Forty-nine consecutive ...
