In this paper, the MEMS type ionization gauge with no X-Ray limitations has been presented. Having the dimensions of 2.4 mm× 0.8mm × 1.4 mm, the designed gauge is 9000 times smaller than the conventional type and can operate in HV and UHV pressures up to 5×10-9 torr. Operating at the temperature of 750°C, the cathode of proposed gauge is implemented using nickel and works in a way in...

there exist simple theories to predict the strain of sandwich structures under a bending load and specific support conditions. although theoretical predictions are highly effective, but the role of testing in validation of these theories and their progress is undeniable. the main goal of the present paper is to prepare a test instruction in order to minimize the error of data acquisition and th...

Adding fundamental matter of mass mQ to N = 4 Yang Mills theory, we study quarkonium, and “generalized quarkonium” containing light adjoint particles. At large ’t Hooft coupling the states of spin ≤ 1 are anomalously light (Kruczenski et al., hep-th/0304032). We examine their form factors, and show these hadrons are unlike any known in QCD. By a traditional yardstick they appear infinite in siz...

It has been proved that process capability indices provide very efficient measures of the capability of processes from many different perspectives. These indices have been widely used in the manufacturing industry for measuring process reproduction capability according to manufacturing specifications. In the past few years, univariate capability indices have been introduced and used to characte...

We introduce a quantale-valued generalization of approach spaces in terms of quantale-valued gauges. The resulting category is shown to be topological and to possess an initially dense object. Moreover we show that the category of quantale-valued approach spaces defined recently in terms of quantale-valued closures is a coreflective subcategory of our category and, for certain choices of the qu...

We study the problem of a quantum particle in an infinite one dimensional potential well with a moving wall. Based on the effective Hamiltonian approach and using the gauge transformation concepts, we show that the effect of the moving wall appears as an extra phase factor in the wave function which depends on the velocity of the wall.

background and aims: to obtain maximum advantages from orthodontic fixed appliances and to achieve the desired final occlusion, correct bracket positioning is highly necessary. in order to measure and determine bracket’s height, diverse gauges have been used. the objective of the present study is to determine and compare bracket positioning accuracy by using height bracket positioning gauge (hb...

This paper presents a method to fabricate high purity, single chirality carbon nanotube (CNT) based sensor systems. Ultracentrifugation is initially used to create an 85% pure (6,5) CNT sample. This 85% pure sample has a gauge factor of 22.7 ± 0.5 which is significantly lower than the predicted gauge factor of 57 for a pure (6,5) CNT. However, this measured gauge factor closely matches the pred...

This paper introduces that the effective area of tested sample can be calculated by calibrating same piston manometer according to balance method, and analyzes influencing factors under this as well influence different on final result.

We consider model A dynamics for a heating quench from the disordered (confined) into the ordered (deconfined) phase of SU(3) lattice gauge theory. For 4N σ lattices the exponential growth factors of low-lying structure function modes are calculated. The linear theory of spinodal decompositions is compared with the data from an effective model and the Debye screening mass is estimated from the ...
