We study internal structure of the Kemmer-Duffin-Petiau equations for spin-0 and spin-1 mesons. We demonstrate, that the Kemmer-DuffinPetiau equations can be splitted into constituent equations, describing particles with definite mass and broken Lorentz symmetry. We also show that solutions of the three component constituent equations fulfill the Dirac equation. PACS: 03.65.Pm

In this paper at first introduced constituent equations for piezoelectric and then by the help of this equations, internal energy of hinged-hinged piezoelectric multilayer beam was computed. Then by the principle of minimum potential energy and Rayleigh -Ritz method the bending curvature equation of hinged-hinged piezoelectric multilayer beam under concentrated moment, concentrated force, unifo...

Abstract We adapt to mixtures the procedure of invariance of external power under the action of SO (3) to deduce balance equations. The two classical axioms about the growths of momentum and moment of momentum are derived with the help of a rule on the structure of the total power. We discuss also the covariance of the balance equations of each constituent and the nature of the constituent stress.

A formal architecture for Construction Grammar (CG) is sketched. Modeling domain objects (constructs) are constituent structures with feature structures at the nodes, aka Feature Structure Trees (FTs). Constructions are partial descriptions of FTs, expressed as sets of constituent structure equations and path equations. Unification of constructions is defined. A construct c is licensed by a gra...

The classical shell theory, first-order shear deformation theory, and third-order shear deformation theory are employed to study the natural frequencies of functionally graded cylindrical shells. The governing equations of motion describing the vibration behavior of functionally graded cylindrical shells are derived by Hamilton’s principle. Resulting equations are solved using the Navier-type s...

lems At Weybridge, we have many animal health probassociated wrth the grazing of apparently good pastures, and it is some of these problems that I propose to discuss this afternoon: Because some of these disorders are not associated with a deficiency of minerals in the herbage itself, it may be misleading to refer to them merely as “trace element” or “mineral deficiency” diseases, which usually...

1. Abstract Equations governing the behavior of rectangular plates made of functionally graded materials (FGMs) are determined in this paper using the variational approach. Derivation of such equations is based on Reissner–Mindlin plate theory that is extended to handle two-constituent material distribution through the thickness. Material properties are assumed to vary with the power law in ter...

A general description of convolutional codes is provided by a set of linear equations called discrete-time state-space equations in control theory. We discuss how the notions of controllability, observability and minimality in control, are applied to convolutional code design. The notion of output-observability is used to ensure minimality of a convolutional code. Without concatenation, searchi...
