This contribution examines the effect of ADSL on VDSL when both reside in a single binder group. The potential loss in VDSL bit rate due to the presence of ADSL is qualified using channel capacity arguments. Of particular interest is the impact of the ADSL PSD beyond 1.104 MHz on VDSL performance, as high-level ADSL energy in this region can substantially impair achievable VDSL bit rates. The c...

In telecommunication, the DSL is widely understood as ADSL. In ADSL, „A‟ stands for Asynchronous” which means that the data stream are not going at the same data rate. Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line (ADSL) is a high speed internet access over an existing telephone line. To increase the spectral efficiency of the available bandwidth, ADSL provides services for customers to receive internet a...

This paper describes ADSL (Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line) simulation model developed using COMNET III. ADSL is integrated with IP (Internet Protocol) and ATM (Asynchronous Transfer Mode) in order to provide QoS (Quality of Service). Using this model, a comparison study between networks using IP over ATM over ADSL and IP over ADSL is provided.

The ADSL2+ lines are gradually replacing the first generation of ADSL in homes and small offices connecting to the Internet. Since there is a need to estimate the transmission speed, we have used MATLAB Web Server to design a simulator of xDSL lines that is available at our web pages. This paper compares simulations with measurement results and proposes a methodology for evaluation of measureme...

This paper describes discrete multi-tone (DMT) line coding, which has become the standard asymmetric digital subscriber line (ADSL) modulation technique as selected by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) T1E1 committee. Presented here is an overview of DMT ADSL including quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM) encoding, rate-adaptation, bitswapping as well as some of the overall adva...

This paper gives a short introduction of Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line (ADSL) technology and briefly discusses its importance. ADSL uses Discrete Multitone Modulation technique and enables very high rate data throughput over normal telephone lines. This paper discusses at length the modulation scheme and also describes in detail the functioning of an ADSL transmitter Asymmetric Digital Sub...

Abstract Malaria remains one of the most infectious life-threatening diseases in world. The lingering effect drug resistance by malarial parasites, especially Plasmodium falciparum, has made it essential for continuous search novel antimalarial drugs that can act on new protein targets and through modes action. Amidoxime functional groups have, recent years, shown to be good incorporations hete...

The purinosome is a multienzyme complex composed by the enzymes active in de novo purine synthesis (DNPS) that cells transiently assemble in their cytosol upon depletion or increased demand of purines. The process of purinosome formation has thus far been demonstrated and studied only in human epithelial cervical cancer cells (HeLa) and human liver carcinoma cells (C3A) transiently expressing r...

Adenylosuccinate lyase (ADSL) deficiency is a rare autosomal recessive neurometabolic disorder that presents with a broad-spectrum of neurological and physiological symptoms. The ADSL gene produces an enzyme with binary molecular roles in de novo purine synthesis and purine nucleotide recycling. The biochemical phenotype of ADSL deficiency, accumulation of SAICAr and succinyladenosine (S-Ado) i...

Telecommunication companies have received a great deal of research attention, which have many advantages such as low cost, higher qualification, simple installation and maintenance, and high reliability. However, the using of technical maintenance approaches in Telecommunication companies could improve system reliability and users' satisfaction from Asymmetric digital subscriber line (ADSL) ser...
