Classically, a Tychonoff space is called strongly 0-dimensional if its Stone-Čech compactification is 0-dimensional, and given the familiar relationship between spaces and frames it is then natural to call a completely regular frame strongly 0-dimensional if its compact completely regular coreflection is 0-dimensional (meaning: is generated by its complemented elements). Indeed, it is then seen...

This paper establishes two new connections between the familiar function ring functor ${mathfrak R}$ on the category ${bf CRFrm}$ of completely regular frames and the category {bf CR}${mathbf sigma}${bf Frm} of completely regular $sigma$-frames as well as their counterparts for the analogous functor ${mathfrak Z}$ on the category {bf ODFrm} of 0-dimensional frames, given by the integer-valued f...

the frame semantic theory is a nascent approach in the area of translation studies which goes beyond the linguistic barriers and helps us to incorporate cognitive and cultural factors to the study of translation. based on rojos analytical model (2002b), which centered in the frames or knowledge structures activated in the text, the present research explores the various translation problems that...

Construction of wavelet frames with matrix dilation is studied. We found a necessary condition and a sufficient condition under which a given pair of refinable functions generates dual wavelet systems with a given number of vanishing moments. For image compression and some other applications, it is very desirable to have wavelets with vanishing moment property. In particular, vanishing moments ...

‎‎The tensor product is the fundemental ingredient for extending one-dimensional techniques of filtering and compression in signal preprocessing to higher dimensions‎. ‎Woven frames play ‎ a crucial role in signal preprocessing and distributed data processing‎. Motivated by these facts, we have investigated the tensor product of woven frames and presented some of their properties. Besides...

in this paper we introduce and study besselian $g$-frames. we show that the kernel of associated synthesis operator for a besselian $g$-frame is finite dimensional. we also introduce $alpha$-dual of a $g$-frame and we get some results when we use the hilbert-schmidt norm for the members of a $g$-frame in a finite dimensional hilbert space.

We analyse the role of the modal axiom corresponding to the first-order formula “∃y (x = y)” in axiomatisations of two-dimensional propositional modal logics. One of the several possible connections between propositional multi-modal logics and classical first-order logic is to consider finite variable fragments of the latter as ‘multi-dimensional’ modal formalisms: First-order variable-assignme...

in this paper, g-dual function-valued frames in l2(0;1) are in-troduced. we can achieve more reconstruction formulas to ob-tain signals in l2(0;1) by applying g-dual function-valued framesin l2(0;1).
