روش های پدیدارشناسی متفاوتی برای بررسی خواص واپاشی های مختلف مزون b وجود دارد. در این پایان نامه واپاشی های نیمه لپتونی مزون b با سه مدل متفاوت بررسی شده است و آهنگ زمانی و نسبت انشعابی چهار واپاشی نیمه لپتونی در سه مدل کوارکی، acd و فاکتوریزیشن اصلاح یافته qcd محاسبه شده است. مقادیر به دست آمده با نتایج آزمایشگاهی توافق خوبی دارند.
