به منظور مطالعه ی دشمنان طبیعی شپشک آردآلود توت pseudococcus comstocki (kuwana) (hem.: pseudococcidae)، نمونه برداری هایی در شهرستان تبریز (استان آذربایجان شرقی) انجام گرفت. در این تحقیق یک گونه زنبور پارازیتویید از خانواده ی encyrtidae جمع آوری و تحت عنوان anagyrus novickyi (hoffer) شناسایی گردید. این گونه برای نخستین بار از ایران گزارش می شود.

The eggplant mealybug, Coccidohystrixinsolita (Green) (Hemiptera: Pseudococcidae), is recorded from the island of Guam in the Mariana Islands for the first time. Factors indicating that this introduced mealybug has the potential to become a pest of economic importance for agriculture and horticulture on Guam are discussed.
