In this study, sharp rearrangement inequalities for the fractional Bmaximal function Mα,γf are obtained in the Lorentz spaces Lp,q,γ and by using these inequalities the boundedness conditions of the operator Mα,γ are found. Then, the conditions for the boundedness of the Bmaximal operator Mγ are obtained in Lp,q,γ .
This paper completes the proof of the Lp-boundedness of bilinear operators associated to nonsmooth symbols or multipliers begun in Part I, our companion paper [8], by establishing the corresponding Lp-boundedness of time-frequency paraproducts associated with tiles in phase plane. The affine invariant structure of such operators in conjunction with the geometric properties of the associated pha...
We establish a weighted Lp boundedness of a parametric Marcinkiewicz integral operator ρ Ω,h if Ω is allowed to be in the block space B (0,−1/2) q (Sn−1) for some q > 1 and h satisfies a mild integrability condition. We apply this conclusion to obtain the weighted Lp boundedness for a class of the parametric Marcinkiewicz integral operators ∗,ρ Ω,h,λ and ρ Ω,h,S related to the Littlewood-Paley ...
Let L = −div(A(x)∇) be a second order elliptic operator with real, symmetric, bounded measurable coefficients on Rn or on a bounded Lipschitz domain subject to Dirichlet boundary condition. For any fixed p > 2, a necessary and sufficient condition is obtained for the boundedness of the Riesz transform ∇(L)−1/2 on the Lp space. As an application, for 1 < p < 3+ ε, we establish the Lp boundedness...
The problem of the boundedness of the fractional maximal operator Mα, 0 ≤ α < n in local Morrey-type spaces is reduced to the problem of the boundedness of the Hardy operator in weighted Lp-spaces on the cone of non-negative non-increasing functions. This allows obtaining sharp sufficient conditions for the boundedness for all admissible values of the parameters.
Stein proved that ifΩ∈ Lipα(Sn−1), (0<α≤ 1), then μΩ is bounded on Lp for all 1<p ≤ 2 [18]. Since then, the study of the Lp boundedness of μΩ under various conditions on the function Ω has attracted the attention of many authors ([1, 4, 5, 7, 10, 13], among others). In particular, Chen et al. in [8] studied the Lp boundedness of μΩ under the following condition on the function Ω which was intro...
By using the Lp(⋅)−Lp(⋅)−boundedness of a maximal operator defined on homogeneous space, it has been shown that B−B−maximal is bounded. In present paper, we aim to bring different approach boundedness generated by generalized translation under continuity assumption p(⋅)p(⋅). It noteworthy mention our weaker than uniform Hölder continuity.
where, p.v. denotes the principal value. It is known that if Φ is of finite type at 0 (see Definition 2.2) and Ω ∈ 1(Sn−1), then TΦ,Ω is bounded on Lp for 1<p <∞ [15]. Moreover, it is known that TΦ,Ω may fail to be bounded on Lp for any p if the finite-type condition is removed. In [8], Fan et al. showed that the Lp boundedness of the operator TΦ,Ω still holds if the condition Ω ∈ 1(Sn−1) is re...
