In this paper, we introduce several concepts of tightness for a sequence of random variables taking values in the space of normal and upper-semicontinuous fuzzy sets with compact support in Rp and give some characterizations of their concepts. Also, counter-examples for the relationships between the concepts of tightness are given.
We have been working on the formalization of the probability and the randomness. In [15] and [16], we formalized some theorems concerning the real-valued random variables and the product of two probability spaces. In this article, we present the generalized formalization of [15] and [16]. First, we formalize the random variables of arbitrary set and prove the equivalence between random variable...
We develop a theory of Malliavin calculus for Banach space valued random variables. Using radonifying operators instead of symmetric tensor products we extend the Wiener-Itô isometry to Banach spaces. In the white noise case we obtain two sided L-estimates for multiple stochastic integrals in arbitrary Banach spaces. It is shown that the Malliavin derivative is bounded on vector-valued Wiener-I...
The probability generating function is a powerful technique for studying the law of finite sums of independent discrete random variables taking integer positive values. For real valued discrete random variables, the well known elementary theory of Dirichlet series and the symbolic computation packages available nowadays, such as Mathematica 5 TM, allows us to extend to general discrete random v...
In some point estimation problems, we may confront imprecise (fuzzy) concepts. One important case is a situation where all observations are fuzzy rather than crisp. In this paper, using fuzzy set theory, we define a fuzzy-valued random variable, a fuzzy unbiased estimator, a fuzzy exponential family, and then we state and prove a Cramér-Rao lower bound for such fuzzy estimators. Finally, we giv...
We define the k:th moment of a Banach space valued random variable as the expectation of its k:th tensor power; thus the moment (if it exists) is an element of a tensor power of the original Banach space. We study both the projective and injective tensor products, and their relation. Moreover, in order to be general and flexible, we study three different types of expectations: Bochner integrals...
One can prove the following four propositions: (1) Let X be a non empty set, S1 be a σ-field of subsets of X, M be a σ-measure on S1, f be a partial function from X to R, E be an element of S1, and a be a real number. Suppose f is integrable on M and E ⊆ dom f and M(E) < +∞ and for every element x of X such that x ∈ E holds a ≤ f(x). Then R(a) ·M(E) ≤ ∫ f E dM. (2) Let X be a non empty set, S1 ...
1 Abstract A complex quantum system with energy dissipation is considered. The quantum Hamilto-nians H belong the complex Ginibre ensemble. The complex-valued eigenenergies Z i are random variables. The second differences ∆ 1 Z i are also complex-valued random variables. The second differences have their real and imaginary parts and also radii (moduli) and main arguments (angles). For N=3 dimen...
