Low molecular weight organic acids are most predominant in apple juice among these components fumaric acid was not exceed more than 5 ppm. It was thought that the HPLC is the best method of the determination of organic acids in the apple juice. In this study, chromatographic separation of organic acids of apple juice was obtained by preparing a sample and by applying them to acid phase for ...

Organogels made of pyridine-end oligo-p-phenylenevinylenes with tartaric acid exhibit remarkable J-aggregation induced red-shifts (Δλ = 55 nm) and notable chirality transcription. Induction of liquid-crystalline behavior is also tuned in the supramolecular assembly.

In the title compound, C(16)H(26)NO(2) (+)·C(4)H(5)O(6) (-)·2H(2)O, a meptaz-inol derivative, three C atoms of the azepane ring are disordered over two positions, with site-occupancy factors of 0.80 and 0.20; the major disorder component adopts a twist-chair conformation, while the minor component has a chair conformation. The benzene ring is axially substituted on the heterocyclic ring, result...
