Abstract Spatially extended halos of H i Ly ? emission are now ubiquitously found around high-redshift star-forming galaxies. But our understanding the nature and powering mechanisms these is still hampered by complex radiative transfer effects line limited angular resolution. In this paper, we present resolved Multi Unit Spectroscopic Explorer (MUSE) observations SGAS J122651.3+215220, a stron...

Let C be nonempty closed convex subset of real Hilbert space H. Consider C a nonexpansive semigroup I {T s : s ≥ 0}with a common fixed point, a contraction f with coefficient 0 < α < 1, and a strongly positive linear bounded operator A with coefficient γ > 0. Let 0 < γ < γ/α. It is proved that the sequence {xn} generated iteratively by xn I − αnA 1/tn ∫ tn 0 T s ynds αnγf xn , yn I − βnA xn βnγ...

Using Hubble Space Telescope (HST) and Spitzer IRAC imaging, we report the discovery of a very bright strongly lensed Lyman break galaxy (LBG) candidate at z ∼ 7.6 in the field of the massive galaxy cluster Abell 1689 (z = 0.18). The galaxy candidate, which we refer to as A1689-zD1, shows a strong z850 − J110 break of at least 2.2 mag and is completely undetected (< 1 σ) in HST Advanced Camera ...

Let f be a computable function from finite sequences of 0’s and 1’s to real numbers. We prove that strong f -randomness implies strong f randomness relative to a PA-degree. We also prove: if X is strongly f -random and Turing reducible to Y where Y is Martin-Löf random relative to Z, then X is strongly f -random relative to Z. In addition, we prove analogous propagation results for other notion...

We show that if $R$ is a ring with an arbitrary idempotent $e$ such that $eRe$ and $(1-e)R(1-e)$ are both strongly nil-clean rings‎, ‎then $R/J(R)$ is nil-clean‎. ‎In particular‎, ‎under certain additional circumstances‎, ‎$R$ is also nil-clean‎. ‎These results somewhat improves on achievements due to Diesl in J‎. ‎Algebra (2013) and to Koc{s}an-Wang-Zhou in J‎. ‎Pure Appl‎. ‎Algebra (2016)‎. ‎...

‎The largest class of hyperstructures is the one which satisfies the weak properties; these are called $H_{v}$-structures‎. ‎In this paper we introduce a special product of elements in $H_{v}$-group $H$ and define a new class of $H_{v}$-groups called strongly $H_{v}$-groups‎. ‎Then we show that in strongly $H_{v}$-groups $beta=beta^{ast}$‎. ‎Also we express $theta$-hyperoperation and investigat...

We present measurements of the spatial clustering of ultraluminous infrared galaxies in two redshift intervals, 1.5 < z < 2.0 and 2 < z < 3. Both samples cluster strongly, with r0 = 14.40± 1.99h Mpc for the 2 < z < 3 sample, and r0 = 9.40 ± 2.24h Mpc for the 1.5 < z < 2.0 sample, making them among the most biased galaxies at these epochs. These clustering amplitudes are consistent with both pop...
