Spontaneous acceleration of ions to suprathermal energies is observed during magnetic reconnection in the Mega-Ampere Spherical Tokamak (MAST). A high-energy tail is observed in the ion-distribution function following each internal reconnection event in Ohmic discharges. This phenomenon is explained in terms of runaway ion acceleration in the electric field induced by the reconnection.

Using the subgroup structure of the generalized Poincaré group P (1, 4), the symmetry reduction of the five-dimensional wave and Dirac equations and Euler–Lagrange– Born–Infeld, multidimensional Monge–Ampere, eikonal equations to differential equations with a smaller number of independent variables is done. This paper presents the design of CMOS operational transconductance amplifiers (OTAs) with very small transconductance (of order of nano ampere per volt), which uses in very low frequency continuous time filters. This design uses current division technique to reduce the transconductance of OTA. This design is simulated in SPICE tool using 0.25μm technology model file.
