The monoid $Cb$ of name substitutions and the notion of finitely supported $Cb$-sets introduced by Pitts as a generalization of nominal sets. A simple finitely supported $Cb$-set is a one point extension of a cyclic nominal set. The support map of a simple finitely supported $Cb$-set is an injective map. Also, for every two distinct elements of a simple finitely supported $Cb$-set, there exists...

In this paper, we present a generalization of one the theorems in [Andrews, G.E. Partitions with parts separated by parity. Ann. Comb. 2019, 23, 241–248], and give its bijective proof. Further variations related partition functions are studied resulting number interesting identities.
In his paper [Grz05], Andrzej Grzegorczyk introduces a theory of concatenation TC. We show that TC does not define pairing. We determine a reasonable extension of TC that is sequential, i.e., has a good sequence coding.
Spans are pairs of arrows with a common domain. Despite their symmetry, spans are frequently viewed as oriented transitions from one of the codomains to the other codomain. The transition along an oriented span might be thought of as transitioning backwards along the first arrow (sometimes called ‘leftwards’) and then, having reached the common domain, forwards along the second arrow (sometimes...
This paper describes a simple method for acquiring conceptinstance relations from simple noun sequences that frequently appear in Japanese Web documents. In Japanese, many noun sequences can consist of two NPs that have a concept-instance relation. This phenomenon is similar to apposition in English but differs in that many of these noun sequences do not provide any explicit clues, such as the ...
Artificial agents are commonly described by using words that traditionally belong to the semantic field of life. I call this phenomenon game extension. However, extension as crucial ‘autonomous’, ‘intelligent’, ‘creative’, ‘moral’, and so on, is often perceived unsatisfactory, which signalled with extensive use inverted commas or other syntactical cues. Such practice, in turn, has provoked hars...
