The maximum and minimum gains (with respect to frequency) of third-order low-pass and high-pass filters are derived without using calculus. Our method uses the little known fact that extrema of cubic functions can easily be found by purely algebraic means. PSpice simulations are provided that verify the theoretical results.

In this paper, we present the analytical expression of phase-controlled class-D inverter at any duty ratio. By considering the body-diode of MOSFET effects and harmonic components of resonant current, analytical expression of phase-controlled class-D inverter at any phase shift and any duty ratio can be obtained. A novel current-mode first-order all-pass filter with low input and high output impedance feature is presented. The circuit realization employs a single dual-X-second-generation current conveyor, one grounded capacitor, and one grounded resistor, which is a minimum component realization. The theoretical results are verified using PSPICE simulation program with TSMC 0.35 μm CMOS process parameters.
A new MOS-C bandpass-low-pass filter using the current feedback operational amplifier (CFOA) is presented. The filter employs two CFOA’s, eight MOS transistors operating in the nonsaturation region, and two grounded capacitors. The proposed MOS-C filter has the advantage of independent control of Q and !o. PSpice simulation results for the proposed filter are given.
This paper describes implementation of CMOS based linear and non-linear analog circuitsusing operational trans conductance amplifier as the basic element. These circuits have their applications in communication signal processing areas. In this work PSPICE is used for simulation various circuits. The corresponding results are presented.
