A new integration technique is presented for systems of linear partial differential equations (PDEs) for which syzygies can be formulated that obey conservation laws. These syzygies come for free as a by-product of the differential Gröbner Basis computation. Compared with the more obvious way of integrating a single equation and substituting the result in other equations the new technique integ...

We develop and apply the product integration method to a large class of linear weakly singular Volterra systems. We show that under certain sufficient conditions this method converges. Numerical implementation of the method is illustrated by a benchmark problem originated from heat conduction.

Customer integration is an integral element of the innovation process today. Yet, despite the potential for integrating external knowledge into new product development (NPD) processes, companies often fail to benefit sufficiently from customer integration. Research attributes this failure to restricted absorptive capacity, intellectual property concerns, or the ''not-invented-here'' syndrome bu...

New product development (NPD) is indeed the cornerstone for companies to maintain and enhance the competitive edge. However, developing new products is a complex and risky decision-making process. It involves a search of the environment for opportunities, the generation of project options, and the evaluation by different experts of multiple attributes, both qualitative and quantitative. To perc...
