Orussus melanosoma Lee & Wei, sp. nov. from South Korea is described and illustrated. Phylogenetic analyses place the new species basally in Orussus, together with other species from the Far East. A key to species of Orussidae from the eastern Palaearctic is provided.

The first and third instar larvae of Phratora koreana Takizawa, 1985 are described and illustrated in detail for the first time. Morphological changes in the pigmentation, tubercular pattern and defensive glands during the larval development are discussed. The life cycle and host-plant of Phratora koreana and a key to the larvae of the Palaearctic Phratora species are also provided.

BACKGROUND Of the two known Eupareophora species, more is known about the larva  and bionomics of the Nearctic E. parca, than the rarely recorded West Palaearctic E. exarmata. NEW INFORMATION The last instar larva and prepupa of E. exarmata is illustrated and briefly described. In Germany its host is Fraxinus excelsior.

A new species of genus Leluthia Cameron (Hymenoptera: Braconidae), L. chinensis Li & van Achterberg, sp. nov. is described and illustrated. It was reared from Agrilus sp. (Coleoptera: Buprestidae), a twig-boring pest of Caragana korshinskii Kom. (Leguminosae) in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, NW China. A key to the East Palaearctic species of the genus Leluthia is provided.

Anagyrus brevifuniculus Zu & Li, sp. nov., A. maculistigmus Zu & Li, sp. nov. and A. pseudobicolor Zu & Li, sp. nov. are described; A. tricolor (Girault) is newly recorded from the Palaearctic region and A. matritensis (Mercet) from China. New distributional data for A. fusciventris (Girault) and A. jenniferae Noyes & Hayat are also provided.

Hypoaspis elegans sp. nov. was collected on adult female Oryctes elegans Prell. (Coleoptera: Scarabaeidae) in Bam, Kerman province, Iran. The new species is described and illustrated from adult females. Hypoaspis surii Khanjani et. al., 2013 is a junior synonym of Hypoaspis maryamae Joharchi & Halliday, 2011. A key to the Western Palaearctic species of Hypoaspis is presented. 

Two new species of the genus Pediculaster Vitzthum, 1931 (Acari: Pygmephoroidea: Pygmephoridae), P. ermilovi sp. nov. and P. lignarius sp. nov. are described from rotten logs in Tyumen, Western Siberia, Russia. A key to phoretic females of Palaearctic species of the genus Pediculaster is provided.

Species of the genus Lathrolestes Forster (Hymenoptera: Ichneumonidae) from western Palaearctic are reviewed. Two new species of Lathrolestes are described, L. nornae sp. n. from Norway and Russia and L. laevipleuris sp. nov. from Finland. An illustrated key to European species is provided. Four additional species are recorded from Norway for the first time.
