The problem of finding factors of a text string which are identical or similar to a given pattern string is a central problem in computer science. A generalised version of this problem consists in implementing an index over the text to support efficient on-line pattern queries. We study this problem in the case where the text is weighted: for every position of the text and every letter of the a...
The weighted Szeged index of a connected graph G is defined as Szw(G) = ∑ e=uv∈E(G) ( dG(u) + dG(v) ) nu (e)n G v (e), where n G u (e) is the number of vertices of G whose distance to the vertex u is less than the distance to the vertex v in G. In this paper, we have obtained the weighted Szeged index Szw(G) of the splice graph S(G1, G2, y, z) and link graph L(G1, G2, y, z).
In this paper, we introduce the novel parameters indicating Normalized Tenacity ($T_N$) and Normalized Toughness ($t_N$) by a modification on existing Tenacity and Toughness parameters. Using these new parameters enables the graphs with different orders be comparable with each other regarding their vulnerabilities. These parameters are reviewed and discussed for some special graphs as well.
In this paper, some properties of Novel Weighted Averages that are related to the concepts of possibility theory are examined. It is shown that Novel Weighted Averages have certain interpretations in terms of addition of interactive interval or fuzzy constraints. To do this, alternative forms of Novel Weighted Averages are provided. In particular, an alternative form of Novel Weighted Averages ...
A number of dependent nonparametric processes have been proposed to model non-stationary data with unknown latent dimensionality. However, the inference algorithms are often slow and unwieldy, and are in general highly specific to a given model formulation. In this paper, we describe a large class of dependent nonparametric processes, including several existing models, and present a slice sampl...
Forest’s ecosystem is one of the most important carbon sink of the terrestrial ecosystem. Remote sensing technology provides robust techniques to estimate biomass and solve challenges in forest resource assessment. The present study explored the potential of Sentinel-2 bands to estimate biomass and comparatively analyzed of red-edge band based and broadband derived vegetation indices. Broadband...
Remote sensing data play an important role in environmental planning and monitoring. The current study aimed to investigate the land surface temperature (LST) and the effect of environmental factors on the LST, to identify the temporal-spatial patterns and determine the hot spots in the period of 2013 to 2019, using Landsat 8 images. The effect of spectral indices: Normalized Difference Build-u...
Subjects with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) have an increased risk of developing Alzheimer's disease (AD), and their functional brain networks are presumably already altered. To test this hypothesis, we compared magnetoencephalography (MEG) eyes-closed resting-state recordings from 29 MCI subjects and 29 healthy elderly subjects in the present exploratory study. Functional connectivity in dif...
Soil organic matter (SOM) is an important component of soils, and knowing the spatial distribution and variation of SOM is the premise for sustainably utilizing soils. The objective of this study was to compare geographically weighted regression (GWR) with regression kriging (RK) for estimating the spatial distribution of SOM using field-sample data in SOM and auxiliary data in correlated envir...
