Abstract Advanced route planning algorithms are one of the key enabling technologies for emerging electric and autonomous mobility. Large realistic data sets needed to test such under conditions that capture natural time-varying traffic patterns corresponding travel-time energy-use predictions. Further, availability charging infrastructure vehicle-specific charging-power curves may be necessary...

We present a case study on the integration in a real industrial design flow of Automatic Integration Test Generation methods. We achieved our goal by devising a testing plan specification language to easily define sets of test cases. The key idea was to base our language on formal standardbased system specification languages already used by the testing engineers in the company. We then have dev...

Nowadays, almost all public administration plan to establish processes with electronic signatures. For such processes, there are no standardized system models with test cases. We are developing a simplified system model with interfaces of a public administration to determine an integration test with test cases especially for mass processes. These are very time-consuming and labor intensive. Aft...

In this paper, we introduce a model based approach for integration test cases generation. The approach is based on UML 2 Testing Profile and follows the Mode-Driven Architecture for generating integration test cases from unit test models. The generated test models can be exported to test execution environments such as JUnit and TTCN-3 for execution and evaluation.

The test problem increasingly affects system design process, related costs and time to market. Requirements from VLSI/WSI manufacturers are for fast and reliable testability tools, with the possibility of their introduction in early phases of design. This paper presents a global toolset architecture for testability analysis and test pattern generation. Three abstraction levels are considered in...

Integration testing is an important part of the testing process, but few integration testing techniques have been systematically studied or de ned. This paper presents an integration testing technique based on couplings between software components. The coupling-based testing technique is described, and 12 coverage criteria are de ned. The coupling-based technique is compared with the category-p...

(57) ABSTRACT Printability of a very-large-scale integration design is assessed by: during a training phase, generating a training set of very-large-scale integration design shapes representative of a population of very-large-scale integration design shapes, obtaining a set of mathematical representations of respective shapes in the training set, identifying at least tWo classes of physical eve...

Testing is a necessary step in systems integration. Testing in the context of interenterprise, business-to-business (B2B) integration is more difficult and expensive than intra-enterprise integration. Traditionally, the difficulty is alleviated by conducting the testing in two stages: conformance testing and then interoperability testing. In conformance testing, systems are tested independently...

• On module testing level, tests are performed against low-level software requirements (i.e., design specifications), and the test data refers to software objects (e.g., function interfaces, global variables). • On software integration level, tests are performed against high-level software requirements, and the test data refers again to software objects. • On HW/SW integration level, tests are ...

The Motorola Automated Test Environment (MATE) provides a means of automating the test process and integrating tools to support required testing capabilities across the lifecycle. The MATE architecture is provided as a foundation to discuss the issues of test tool integration with COTS products that automate the full system test lifecycle. Specific tool integration issues include data, control,...
